How to Flash Stock ROM via Odin 

Hello Galaxy Y Duos Users!! In this tutorial i'm gonna show you how to flash full package Stock ROM using Odin

Remember: DWYOR, I am not responsible for anything happened in your device...

Prerequisite

1. Indonesian Firmware, Stock ROM for Samsung Galaxy Y Duos- download here 


2. Flash Program: Odin 1.85+Pit or Odin 1.87
3. USB cable Driver – Samsung Kies or Samsung USB driver

4. USB cable 

5. PC or laptop – running on Windows xp or later OS.

6. Your Samsung Galaxy Y Duos GT-S6102


Steps to Install

1) If needed Backup your data from SD Card and backup the Apps and Apps' Data using Titanium Backup.

2) Enable USB Debugging, Goto "Settings=>Applications=>Development=>(Tick)USB Debugging".

3) Make sure you phone battery level is 80% or above...

4. Extract the downloaded firmware with your Laptop or PC then put it on your Desktop, so it's easy to find... then run Odin executable file from your Laptop or PC

5) Then go to Download Mode, Turn off your phone and Press and hold Volume Down Key + Home button + Power Button... Once you entered into Download Mode, Press Volume UP to continue...

6) Once you're in Download mode, Connect your phone to PC using USB Cable... If the Drivers are installed successfully, the ID : COM section in the Odin will turn yellow.

7) Now you need to select the Files in Odin
1) PIT Tab -> torino_1205.pit 
2) PDA button -> look for the file with the letters PDA or CODE on it,
like PDA_S6102XXXXX.tar.md5 (also .tar support)
3) PHONE button -> MODEM_S6102XXXXX.tar.md5 (also .tar support)

4) CSC button -> associated also with letters CSC or Multi_CSC 
like GT-S6102OXXXXX.tar.md5 (also .tar support)
8) After files have been selected in respective tabs, click on START button. And wait for the download has been finished... Once the Download is finished, the phone will restart automatically...

9) Once your phone entered in Home screen, your ID:COM will turn from Yellow to Green... That's all you successfully flashed the Stock ROM...


10) If you got any problem on Start up, Go to Recovery Mode then Wipe Data and Wipe Cache partition...

      i download odin3 v1.85 nd S6102DDLG1_S6102ODDLF_INU(1) bt when i extract it there is only 1 file with extesion .tar.md5...

    I never try to flash with KIES. if you got problem with Odin, you can flash directly from device in this tutorial http://galaxyyoungduos.blogspot.com/2012/10/restoreable-nandroid-backup-directly.html

    I'm sorry for waiting the answer, I a little bit busy in few days.
    You can use firmware from any region. But if you use another region, your SGYD will not support your language :)

    Hai bro,
    ever since i rooted my sgyd i hav got poor battery life.for example if i charge my phone to 100% ,the next mrng i see its 42%.i need a soln.btw i am frm india.so if u find any rom suit for my sgyd plz let it knw.

    ehm, i'm confused too. AFAIK there isn't strict relation between rooting and battery life. May be U install another app that drain your battery faster.

    actualy previously i had flashed stock rom thru odin many times...bt yesterday i selected the pit file given by manoranjan and did not checked the re partition box and then i detached the cable....after that i repeated the same procedure and this time i checked the re partition box too bt 2 my bad luck again it failed after nand write start.....plz help plzzzzz...thanks in advance

    yeah i du have bt my phone iz nt enterin recovery mode
    ......it onli enters download mode...n during normal reboot i gt a blank screen n the logo of galaxy y duos doesnt appears

    I just rooted my
    Samsung Galaxy Y Dous GT-S6102 and
    use Link2SD Apps after that some reason i
    made stock recovery by pressing hard reset buttons
    but reset completed and my phone restarted.
    After restarting the
    Welcome screen of S6102 displayed and say touch the Android Logo but when i
    try to touch and go forward its not working i filled touched but phone not goes next....
    please brother help me to solve this i m very panic

    i tried Odin3 V.1.85 Pit + Bootloader + PDA + Phone(Modem) + CSC but this process displays failed..... what i have to do.. please help me brother...

    i have also a problem with my SGYDuo gt s-6102 when i flash in odin3 v1.85 using a S6102firmware+pitfile+bootloader package i installed correct but after restarting my touchscreen,menu and back button is not responding.

    anyone can help on how to fix that problem...thank you in advance..

      i tried also to flash in recovery mode using custom firmware XDV3.ROM.FINAL2.0 but it doesn't work.same problem..
